ScanCode is an application which decodes various types of Barcodes and QR-Codes. PLEASE NOTE: The camera of the Palm has fixed focus. So it is very hard to detect barcodes. QR-Codes work well. The decoded information can be copied to your clipboard. If the type is specified direct interaction e.g. open a URL oder write a message is possible. If an EAN code is detected you search for it to get information about the product. Because JavaScript can not access the image directly it is uploaded and processed by a server.
